Eddie From Ohio is actually a quartet from Virginia, among the hottest new folk bands. Its quirky, hilariously smart-alecky songs are bringing young fans to folk and a welcome spirit of fun to the often-dour world of the songwriter.

Well, uh, there is an Eddie, but the band's from Virginia, and that's just for starters in this real-tough-to-categorize group.
The four-person Eddie from Ohio is too energetic to be labeled just "folk" and not angry enough to be pegged "alternative." Their music blends four-part harmony vocals and acoustic instrumentation into a unique musical form that has been compared to Crosby, Stills & Nash meet the Indigo Girls or the Grateful Dead meets Peter, Paul, and Mary.
